Privacy Policy

How Orylantsa Consultancy collects, uses and protects your personal information.

Who we are

Orylantsa Consultancy provides practical workplace health and safety (WHS) services to businesses in South Australia. In this policy, “we”, “us” and “our” mean Orylantsa Consultancy. You can contact us at info@orylantsa.com.au or on +61 426 956 700.

What we collect

When you submit our Request a Consultation form or contact us directly, we collect the information you give us:

  • your name, email address and phone number;
  • the service you are interested in;
  • any details you choose to share about your workplace or enquiry; and
  • general information about how you use our website, collected through analytics (see “Website analytics and cookies” below).

Please do not include sensitive personal information, such as health details about individuals, in your enquiry. If we need that kind of information to provide a service, we will ask for it separately.

How we use it

We use your information to respond to your enquiry, discuss and quote for our services, deliver agreed work, and keep records of our dealings with you. We may also contact you about your enquiry or ongoing work.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information. We use service providers to operate our business and website.

MilesWeb hosts our website and business email. Enquiries submitted through our website are sent to our business email address, which forwards messages to our Gmail account for business communications and follow-up.

We use Google services, including Gmail and Google Analytics, to support our business communications and understand how visitors use our website. Google Analytics collects website usage information as described in the “Website analytics and cookies” section below.

We may also disclose personal information where required or authorised by law.

Overseas service providers

Some of the providers that handle information for us may store or process it outside Australia. Google provides our Gmail service and website analytics, and may process information on servers in other countries, including the United States. MilesWeb hosts our website and business email, and its data centres are located outside Australia, in countries including India, the United Kingdom, the United States and Romania.

We take reasonable steps to choose reputable service providers. However, information handled overseas may be subject to the laws of the countries where it is processed or stored.

How we store and protect it

Enquiries submitted through our website are emailed to our business email account, forwarded to our Gmail account, and also saved in our website’s database (our website runs on WordPress). We may keep them in our business records as well. We take reasonable steps to protect your information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access, and we delete or de-identify it when we no longer need it.

Website analytics and cookies

We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use our website, such as which pages are viewed, approximate location, and the device and browser used. Google Analytics uses cookies and similar technologies to collect this information. We use it to improve our website, not to identify individual visitors. Our website host, MilesWeb, may also collect standard technical information, such as your IP address, to keep the site running and secure.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or opt out of Google Analytics by installing Google’s Analytics opt-out browser add-on (search for it by that name).

Links to other sites

Our website may link to other websites, such as LinkedIn. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites.

Access, correction and complaints

You can ask for access to the personal information we hold about you, and ask us to correct it if it is inaccurate, out of date or incomplete. You can also ask us to delete your information. We will action deletion requests unless we need to keep the information to meet legal or recordkeeping obligations, such as records of work we have delivered. To make a request, email info@orylantsa.com.au. We may need to confirm your identity before acting on it.

If you have a concern about how we have handled your information, please contact us first and we will respond promptly. If you are not satisfied, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page.
